No. 14 Radcliffe Heavyweight Crew Set to Host No. 8 Princeton, Cornell in Class of 1975 Cup

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The No. 14 Radcliffe heavyweight crew will host No. 8 Princeton and Cornell in the Class of 1975 Cup on the Charles River Saturday, April 8. This will be the Black and White's first event at home this spring.

Radcliffe is looking for its first victory in this series since 2013. Princeton has won each of the last three years.

Bill Spaulding will have the call on the Ivy League Digital Network.

Radcliffe swept the Eastern Sprints titles and finished fourth at the Ivy League Championships.

Scouting No. 8 Princeton
Last weekend, the Tigers defeated Columbia and Clemson in Teaneck, New Jersey. Last year's Ivy League champion, Princeton is coached by Lori Dauphiny, who is in her 21st season at the helm.

Scouting Cornell
The Big Red took second against Yale in the Cayuga Cup, held in Ithaca, New York last week. Liz Dennison is in her third year as head coach of the Big Red.

In The Polls
Radcliffe opened the season receiving votes in the CRCA/USRowing Coaches Preseason Poll and is No. 14 this week. Washington sits atop the poll, followed by California, Michigan, Ohio State and Texas.
