    PRINCETON, N.J. – Capping an impressive collegiate debut last week, Lola Mullaney of the Harvard women’s basketball team has been named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week, as announced by the conference this afternoon.
  • Women’s Basketball Hosts Siena, Travels to La Salle and Rutgers

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Coming off a successful opening week of its 2019-20 season, the Harvard women’s basketball team (2-0, 0-0 Ivy League) it set for a busy week of competition. The Crimson will first host Siena in a midweek matchup this Tuesday, Nov. 12, before traveling to La Salle and Rutgers next weekend, Nov. 15 and 17, respectively. Tip-off time is slated for 7 p.m. on Tuesday and Friday with both contests on ESPN+, while the Crimson will face the Scarlet Knights at 2 p.m. on Sunday on BTN+.

  • Women’s Basketball Set to Open 2019-20 Campaign on the Road

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Opening the 2019-20 campaign on the road, the Harvard women’s basketball team (0-0, 0-0 Ivy League) will head to DeKalb, Ill. to take on Northern Illinois in the programs’ first ever meeting this Tuesday, Nov. 5. Tip-off time is slated for 11 a.m. The Crimson then returns to Cambridge for its home opener against California on Friday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. The contest against the Golden Bears will be broadcast on ESPN+.

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Joining a group of distinguished Harvard women’s basketball alumnae, The Friends of Harvard Women’s Basketball Head Coach Kathy Delaney-Smith is set to participate in a women in sports, leadership and empowerment panel hosted by the Harvard Business School and HBS Connects next Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 6:30-8 p.m. at Klarman Hall.

    PRINCETON, N.J. – After finishing in the top three of the Ivy League standings for the 13th consecutive season a year ago, the Harvard women’s basketball team was selected to finish third in the Ivy League preseason media poll, as announced by the conference today, Oct. 23. The Crimson concluded its 2018-19 campaign in third place with a 17-13 overall record and 9-5 league mark.

  • Boston Celtics Hire Former Women’s Basketball Standout Allison Feaster ‘98

    BOSTON, Mass. – Former Harvard women’s basketball standout Allison Feaster ’98 has been hired by the Boston Celtics as the director of player development, as announced by the Celtics’ president of basketball operations Danny Ainge. A 19-year WNBA and international veteran, Feaster joins the organization after spending 10 years (1998-2008) playing professionally for the Los Angeles Sparks, Charlotte Sting and Indiana Fever, before taking her talents oversees to play professionally in Europe until 2016. At the conclusion of her professional career, Feaster served as the manager of player personnel and coach relations in the NBA G-League prior to joining the Celtics’ front office. She was responsible for maintaining relationships with players, agents and coaches as well as serving as the point contact for the league’s international strategy.

  • Women’s Basketball Reveals 2019-20 Schedule

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Friends of Harvard Women's Basketball Head Coach Kathy Delaney-Smith has announced the team’s 2019-20 schedule today, July 31. The Crimson will begin its season in non-conference play, as its slate spans 10 different leagues. Harvard looks to earn a spot in the Ivy League Tournament for the fourth-consecutive year with 12 regular season contests at Lavieties Pavilion.
