Bush Tabbed Ivy League Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – Sophomore forward Jadyn Bush of the Harvard women's basketball team has been selected as the Ivy League Player of the Week, as announced by the conference today, Nov. 19. This marks Bush's first career player of the week accolade.

Bush guided the Crimson to back-to-back wins over La Salle and Siena last week. Against the Explorers, she registered her second career double-double posting 11 points and 10 rebounds, while also shooting 5-for-8 from field goal range and recording two steals. In the triumph at Siena, the Federal Way, Wash. native went 9-for-11 from the floor for 19 points. Adding 11 boards to her tally, Bush notched her second double-double of the season.

Through four games this season, Bush has led the team in rebounds in each contest, notching double-digit boards in three. Currently ranking second in the Ancient Eight in rebounds, Bush averages 9.5 boards per game.

Bush and the Crimson return to action this Wednesday, Nov. 21 for a midweek match up at Hartford before departing for Los Angeles, Calif. to partake in the CSUN Tournament, Nov. 23-24.
