PRINCETON, N.J. – Senior guard Taylor Rooks has been named the Ivy League Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon.
Rooks was a force in Harvard's wins over Yale and Brown last weekend. Against the Bulldogs, the Warren, New Jersey native was 9-of-11 from the floor for 22 points, while also securing nine rebounds and dishing three assists. She followed that up versus the Bears with a career-high 24 points and seven rebounds.
Rooks's stellar play has helped Harvard ascend to second in the Ivy League standings with a 3-1 record. Harvard welcomes Columbia and Cornell to Lavietes Pavilion this weekend. Harvard is 8-0 on its home court this year.
