Rooks Earns Ivy Player of the Week Honor

PRINCETON, N.J.  Senior guard Taylor Rooks has been named the Ivy League Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon.

Rooks was a force in Harvard's wins over Yale and Brown last weekend. Against the Bulldogs, the Warren, New Jersey native was 9-of-11 from the floor for 22 points, while also securing nine rebounds and dishing three assists. She followed that up versus the Bears with a career-high 24 points and seven rebounds.

Rooks's stellar play has helped Harvard ascend to second in the Ivy League standings with a 3-1 record. Harvard welcomes Columbia and Cornell to Lavietes Pavilion this weekend. Harvard is 8-0 on its home court this year.
