CAMBRIDGE, Mass. –
Freshman forward Jeannie Boehm was named Ivy League Rookie of the Week, the conference announced today (Jan. 30). Boehm was excellent on both ends of the floor in wins against Cornell (62-59) and Columbia (70-68) this past weekend, helping Harvard improve to 16-1 (4-0 Ivy League).

On Friday night against the Big Red, Boehm recorded five points, a career high 13 rebounds and four assists, to go along with three blocked shots, helping Harvard record its 18th straight win in the series against Cornell.

She followed that up with her best offensive performance of the season against Columbia, notching a career high 20 points, adding eight rebounds and three blocked shots. Boehm's defense altered Camille Zimmerman' game-tying shot attempt at the buzzer and helped the Crimson hold on for the 70-68 win over the Lions.

Harvard's 16-game winning streak matches the program record set during the 2002-03 season. The Crimson takes on Penn and Princeton in road contests this weekend, starting with a trip to Philadelphia to face the Quakers on Friday night at 7:00 p.m. The game will air on ESPN3 and the Ivy League Digital Network.
