CAMBRIDGE, Mass. --
Senior forward Destiny Nunley earned Ivy League Co-Player of the Week honors, the conference announced today.

Nunley played a key role in helping Harvard extend its winning streak to 13 games, as the Crimson needed her last minute heroics to get past La Salle last Wednesday.

Nunley notched her second double-double of the season, recording 19 points and 12 rebounds to lift Harvard past La Salle, 66-64. She scored 13 of her 19 points in the second half, including a 5-for-5 performance in the third quarter to help Harvard rally from a 10 point halftime deficit. She hit the game-winning shot with 1.9 seconds remaining, corralling a loose ball and hitting a baseline jumper to give Harvard the lead for good.

Harvard is off to its best start in program history at 13-1 (1-0 Ivy League) and has the fourth longest winning streak in the nation.

Harvard will be in action this Saturday (Jan. 21) at Dartmouth as the Crimson head into the heart of Ivy League play.
