Women's Basketball Moves to No. 18 in CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25; No. 4 in ESPNW Mid-Major Rankings

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. --
 After matching a program record with its 16th straight win on Saturday night against Columbia, Harvard (16-1) moved up to No. 18 in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25. The Crimson maintained its spot at No. 4 in the latest ESPNW Mid-Major Rankings. Harvard has also moved up to No. 20 in the latest NCAA Division I RPI rankings.

Harvard is coming off two wins against Cornell (W, 62-59) and Columbia (W, 70-68) at Lavietes Pavilion. On Friday night against the Big Red, sophomore Sydney Skinner scored 11 of her career high 23 points in the fourth quarter to lift Harvard to the win. On Saturday night against Columbia, sophomore Madeline Raster (18 points) hit a fall-away game-winning jump shot with 4.9 seconds remaining.

With 16 wins in a row, Harvard has the third longest winning streak in the nation. Harvard's streak is the longest since the team record 16-game win streak during the 2002-03 season. 

The Crimson takes on Penn and Princeton in road contests this weekend, starting with a trip to Philadelphia to face the Quakers on Friday night at 7:00 p.m. The game will air on ESPN3 and the Ivy League Digital Network.
