CAMBRIDGE, Mass. –
Freshman forward Jeannie Boehm of Harvard women's basketball earned Ivy League Rookie of the Week honors, the conference announced today.

Boehm recorded her second career double-double and had an excellent all-around game to help lift Harvard past Kansas, 69-59 for an impressive road win last Wednesday (Dec. 7).

Boehm led all scorers with 12 points, adding 10 rebounds, and a career-high five blocks. She is among the nation's best in total blocked shots (27, 12th NCAA) and blocked shots per game (3.0, 13th NCAA). The win extended Harvard's school record non-conference winning streak to eight games, and was the program's first win over a Big 12 opponent.

Harvard (8-1) will have its first game after the exam break on Dec. 21, a road test at Siena. Tip-off is set for noon.
