Boehm Helps USA U18 to Gold Medal

VALDIVIA, Chile – Harvard women's basketball incoming freshman Jeannie Boehm helped the USA U18 National Team to a FIBA Americas U18 Championship title, posting a 5-0 tournament record and a 109-62 win over Canada in the championship game.

Boehm played in all five games, averaging 7.8 points in 13.4 minutes. Shooting 72 percent from the field, Boehm added 7.2 boards.  

A four-year starter at New Trier, Boehm is just the second McDonald's All-American in Harvard and Ivy League history. A Naismith Trophy Mid-Season Team honoree and a  Naismith All-American honorable mention, Boehm finished with 1,872 points, 1,169 rebounds, 375 blocks, 254 assists, 142 steals and shot 57.1 percent from the floor.
