Boehm Named to USA U18 National Team

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's basketball incoming freshman Jeannie Boehm was named to the 2016 USA Basketball U18 National Team, it was announced over the weekend.

Boehm will be part of the 12-member roster after competing for three days of trials at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The team members will return to Colorado Springs for training camp July 2-8 before departing for Chile on July 9.

USA will look to defend its 2014 U18 gold at the 2016 FIBA Americas U18 Championship July 13-17 in Valdivia, Chile.

A four-year starter at New Trier, Boehm is just the second McDonald's All-American in Harvard and Ivy League history. A Naismith Trophy Mid-Season Team honoree and a  Naismith All-American honorable mention, Boehm finished with 1,872 points, 1,169 rebounds, 375 blocks, 254 assists, 142 steals and shot 57.1 percent from the floor.
