CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Single-game tickets for the Harvard women's basketball team's home games are now on sale through the Harvard ticket office. Fans can purchase tickets at the he Harvard ticket office, located in the Murr Center at 65 N. Harvard Street, Boston, Mass, online at GoCrimson.com, or by calling 617-495-2211.
Tickets are priced at $10 for adults, $5 for youth 12 and under, and free for Harvard undergraduates.
The Crimson returns to the hardwood this winter after posting a 22-8 record last year, including a 9-2 record at Lavietes Pavilion. Harvard will host Colgate and Northeastern before the new-year, and Florida Gulf Coast, Chattanooga and NJIT in January in nonconference matchups. The team will play a seven-game home schedule in Ivy League play, starting with Dartmouth on January 10.
The upcoming season looks to be another promising one, as Harvard returns 12 players from last year's team that advanced to the WNIT second round for the third-consecutive year. Highlighting the returners are starters Ali Curtis, Temi Fagbenle and Erin McDonnell. The trio combined to score more than 27 points per game last season. Fagbenle, a 2012 Olympian with Great Britain, posted career highs in points (13.0) and rebounds (9.3) per game as a junior while shooting 53.9 percent from the floor. Curtis led the Crimson in assists per game as a junior, while McDonnell shot 42.5 percent from 3-point range to lead the team in 2013-14.
