Berry earned the 10th weekly award of her career after being named to the Best Buy Classic All-Tournament Team (Gil Talbot).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Senior Brogan Berry has been named the Ivy League Player of the Week after averaging 15.0 ppg, 5.7 rpg and 5.3 apg in a 2-1 campaign for the Crimson.
Berry netted 15 points in Tuesday’s 69-62 win at New Hampshire, shooting 4-of-9 from the floor and 6-of-7 at the line. She matched her season-high with 19 points on Friday and also recorded seven rebounds and six assists to help Harvard to a 78-55 triumph over Alcorn State at the Best Buy Classic. Against Minnesota on Saturday, she netted 11 points with a season-high eight assists and seven rebounds.
Berry shot 42.5 percent from the floor for the week and an impressive 87.0 percent at the line. She was named to the Best Buy Classic All-Tournament Team along with teammate Victoria Lippert, and also moved into fourth place in school history with 439 career assists. The senior co-captain has averaged 12.7 ppg for the year and ranks 49th in the NCAA with a 2.0 assist-to-turnover ratio.
This is the 10th Ivy League weekly award of Berry’s career and second for the Crimson this season. Berry had previously been named player of the week three times and rookie of the week six times. Christine Clark was also named the Ivy League Player of the Week Nov. 28.
