Harvard Basketball Invites Community to Games Over Holiday Break

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The Harvard men's and women's basketball teams will host several community days for games over the holiday break from Dec. 29-Jan. 2.

The Harvard men's basketball team welcomes Monmouth to Lavietes Pavilion Wednesday, Dec. 29 at 7 p.m. That contest will serve as Allston-Brighton Night, as all Allston-Brighton residents will be admitted to the game for free.  Two days later, Harvard hosts local rival MIT during Cambridge Day Friday, Dec. 31 at 2 p.m. For that game, all Cambridge residents will receive free admission to see the Crimson face the Engineers.

On Sunday, Jan. 2, the Harvard women's basketball team will welcome Massachusetts to Lavietes Pavilion for a non-conference tilt at 2 p.m. The Crimson will host the Minutewomen on Community Day, as all Cambridge and Allston-Brighton residents will have free admission to the contest. In addition, all children ages 12 and under will be admitted for free.
