Lippert Named Ivy League Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week

Freshman Victoria Lippert was named Ivy League Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week after leading Harvard to a pair of wins on the weekend.
Lippert paced the Crimson in scoring in a weekend sweep of Brown and Yale. The starting guard averaged 24.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 blocks per game and shot 67.9 percent from the field, 60.0 percent from downtown and 1.000 percent from the free throw line. She scored a game and career-high 27 points on a 9-for-15 effort from the field and a perfect 7-for-7 performance at the free throw line against Brown. She posted a game-high 21 points, three rebounds and three assists in win over Yale.
Lippert, who is third on the team in scoring with 12.1 ppg., was honored with rookie of the week title Dec. 14.
The Crimson gears up for the second round of Ivy League round robin play with a trip to New York this weekend.
