The Harvard womens basketball team welcomes four members of the Class of 2014 this fall. Three of the four players were nominated as McDonalds All-Americans while one is presently competing with the Canadian National Program.
The Harvard womens basketball team held its annual end-of- season dinner last week at the Stockyard restaurant in Brighton. The Crimson handed out team awards and named its two captains for the 2010-11 season.

Freshman Victoria Lippert was named the co- Ivy League Rookie of the Week as announced by the league office this morning. This is the fourth rookie of week selection and third in a row. The newcomer from San Diego, Calif., posted her third double-double of the season to lead the womens basketball team to a 68-60 win over Yale and keep the Crimson in the Ivy League title race.
Halfway through the Ivy League season, Harvard stands second in the conference standings with a 5-2 overall mark. The Crimson travels to New York this weekend to begin the second half of conference play with the hopes of closing in on first-place Princeton
Despite a slow start to the game, the Harvard women's basketball team held off Brown and came away with a 66-51 win Saturday night at Lavietes Pavilion. Harvard, who is a perfect 10-0 at home this season, improves to 14-7 overall and 5-2 in conference play.
