Darcy Wilson is in her second season as an assistant coach with the Harvard track and field team. Her primary focus is the men's and women's throws.
The 2017-18 season saw success behind Wilson's leadership as Andrew Connolly won the javelin throw (202-7) on the men's side, the second straight year Harvard has won the men's javelin at Outdoor Heps.
Wilson joins the Harvard staff after spending the past four seasons at Brown, where her student-athletes broke program records in the men's and women's discus, men's hammer and women's javelin. Finding success across multiple events, Wilson's tenure saw 40 athletes added to the program's all-time top-10 lists, with a handful of throwers qualifying for NCAA Championships.
Prior to her stint at Brown, Wilson coached three years apiece at Massachusetts and Keene State. She is an active member of USA Track & Field Coaching and the National Throw Coaches Association.
