Outdoor Track Readies for 125th Penn Relays, Stonehill Invite

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard outdoor track and field is preparing for the trek to Philadelphia for the 125th annual Penn Relays on April 25-27 at Franklin Field.

What to Know
- Harvard plans to compete in eight events at the Penn Relays, including the men's and women's 10,000m (Hugo Milner, Matthew Perreira, Gillian Meeks), 5000m (Hugo Milner, Lisa Tertsch, Brooke Starn), 3000m steeplechase (David Melville, Kaeo Kruse, Lisa Tertsch Anna Juul), women's 3000m (Tessa Medrano, Maya Rayle, Eliza Rego) and the men's discus (Sam Welsh).
- Last time out, the Crimson competed at both LSU Alumni Gold and the UVA Challenge, where Myles Marshall won the men's 800m at LSU with a 1:50.35 and Kieran Tuntivate won the 5000m at UVA with a 13:57.60.
- Simi Fajemisin placed second in the triple jump at LSU Alumni Gold with a mark of 12.89m (42-3.50), finishing as the top collegiate triple jumper at the meet.

What's Next
The Penn Relays and the Stonehill Invite are Harvard's last tune-up before they travel to Princeton, N.J. for the Ivy League Outdoor Heptagonal Track and Field Championships on May 4-5.
