Track and Field Sends Two to IC4A/ECAC Championships

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard track and field continues its indoor season, competing at the IC4A/ECAC Championships on Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2 at the BU Track and Tennis Center.

What to Know
- Last weekend, Harvard won 11 individual Ivy Heps titles and one relay. As a team, the women finished in second while the men finished in third.
- Competing at the meet will be Donagh Mahon, who won the individual title in the high jump. He reached a mark of 2.12m (6-11.50). His season-best mark of 2.18m (7-1.75) is the second-best high jump in Harvard indoor history.
- Also competing will be Erick Duffy, in the pole vault, who reached a season-best mark of 5.28m (17-3.75) at the Texas Tech Shootout. The mark is the second-best in Harvard indoor history and the second-best mark by anyone to wear a Crimson uniform in indoor or outdoor. 

What's Next
Harvard competes at its last indoor meet, the 2019 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, on Friday, March 8 and Saturday, March 9 in Birmingham, Alabama. Representing the Crimson will be junior triple jumper Simi Fajemisin, who has the 14th-best mark in the country and school-record jump of 13.27m (43-6.50).
