Fifteen From Track and Field Earn All-Ivy Honors

Fifteen (15) Harvard track and field athletes earned All-Ivy League honors by finishing among the top two in their respective events.

PRINCETON, N.J. –
After several impressive, record-breaking performances at the Ivy League Outdoor Heptagonal Championships in Philadelphia, fifteen (15) Harvard track and field athletes earned All-Ivy League honors by finishing among the top two in their respective events.

Five Harvard student-athletes earned multiple All-Ivy honors, with junior sprinter Gabby Thomas at the top of the list with five Outdoor Heps titles (long jump, 100m, 200m, 4x100m relay, 4x400m relay). Sophomore Karina Joiner earned four All-Ivy laurels as a part of Harvard's two winning relay squads and finishing second in both the 100m and 400m hurdles.

Freshman Olivia Okoli was also part of Harvard's two winning relay teams on the women's side. For the men, freshman Jovahn Williamson set a new Harvard record, winning the 400m (47.03), while also winning a Heps title in the 4x400m relay. Matt Hurst was also part of the winning 4x400m relay team, while placing second with a new personal record in the 400m (47.33).
