Thomas, Fajemisin Represent Track and Field at Hurricane Alumni Invitational

MIAMI, Fla. – Junior Gabby Thomas and sophomore Simi Fajemisin represented Harvard track and field at the Hurricane Alumni Invitational today, with both recording impressive marks in their respective events.

Thomas won the 200m dash, running a new personal and Ivy League record with a 22.32 time, the fastest collegiate time in the nation. Thomas also won the 100m by running 11.14, another one of her fastest marks in that event.

Fajemisin had her season best mark in the long jump (6.05m/19-10), placing second overall in the event. Fajemisin set a new personal mark in the 100m dash as well (12.03), finishing 14th overall.

What's Next
Harvard will compete in the annual Harvard-Yale meet in New Haven, Conn. on April 14.
