SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Representing a small contingent of student-athletes from Harvard at the Alex Wilson Invitational hosted by Notre Dame, the Crimson women's distance medley relay team set a new program record to highlight the competition.

Molly Renfer, Autumne Franklin, Erika Veidis and Paige Kouba turned on the jets and posted a time of 11:18.73, eclipsing the previous school record of 11:22.53 set earlier this season.

"I think it really says something when we do not have our best day and still break a school record," said Jason Saretsky, The William W. "Bill" McCurdy Director of Track and Field/Cross Country. "I'm excited to see everyone rested up and ready to go next weekend at Heps."

Renfer also competed in the one mile run, while Veidis raced in the 800 meter run.

Harvard's entire team will be in action next weekend when it hosts the Ivy League Heptagonal Championships at the Gordon Indoor Track February 28 – March 1.
