Track and Field Wraps Weekend at Scarlet and White Invitational

BOSTON – The Harvard track and field team wrapped competition this weekend at the Scarlet and White Invitational hosted by Boston University.

The women's 4x4 posted a second-place showing with a time of 3:43.78 – the second-fastest time in school history.

Junior Allison Morrison jumped a height of 1.65m to take second in the high jump. In the triple jump, rookie Floriane Kameni hopped 11.67 meters to hold fourth.

In the 800m run, senior Gabrielle Scott clocked a time of 2:08.13 to rank fourth overall in Harvard program history. Junior Kieran Gallagher finished in 2:13.26 to place 11th in the race.

Senior Ashely Collinsworth registered a personal-best time 24.43 to place ninth in the 200m dash. Classmate Danielle Barbian posted a time of 24.60 in the event to rank 14th overall.

The women's distance medley relay squad set a school record at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix.

On the men's side, senior Connor Reck stopped the clock in 1:51.64 to rank fifth in the 800m run. The time moves him into the top-10 at Harvard.

Senior Nephat Maritim ranked sixth in the 10K.  Freshman Jay Hebert clocked a time of 8.33 to sit fifth in the 60m hurdles.

The Crimson will be back at Gordon Indoor Track next weekend for the H-Y-P Meet.
