CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard track and field has released its 2015 outdoor schedule, and involves one home meet, April 11, against Yale.
The Crimson begins the outdoor slate with a pair of relays in Texas, hosted by Texas Southern (March 20) and Texas (March 25). Harvard will also send student-athletes to UMass Lowell on March 28.
In April, Harvard will compete in seven meets. The month begins with the Sam Howell Invite, hosted by Princeton, and the Florida Relays April 3-4 before hosting Yale in the sole home meet on the Crimson's outdoor schedule. The duel with Yale serves as a qualifier for the Oxford/Cambridge meet at the end of the season. The subsequent weekend, Harvard splits up for the UVA Challenge and a dual meet at MIT. The team closes the month at the Penn Relays and Stonehill Invite.
May is the month of championships, kicked off by the Ivy League Heptagonal Championships May 9-10 before the IC4A/ECAC Championships May 15-17. The NCAA Preliminary Round will take place May 28-30 in Jacksonville, Florida, before the University of Oregon hosts the NCAA National Championships June 10-13.
Harvard closes its spring season at Oxford for the Oxford/Cambridge meet on June 29.
