Softball Tabbed Top-15 NFCA All-Academic Team

LOUISVILLE, Ky.- The Harvard women's softball team was ranked 15th in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Academic Team. In addition, 13 Crimson members were named NFCA Scholar-Athletes for their accomplishments during the 2017-18 academic year.

This marks the fifth straight year the Crimson has cracked the top-15 for its academic acheivements with a team grade point average of 3.555. A total of 1,311 student-athletes earned NFCA Scholar Athletes, which requires the stuednt to record a GPA of 3.5 or higher for the scholastic year. Alexa Altchek, Katie Duncan, Olivia Giaquinto, Dallas Hogan, Maddy Kaplan, Melissa Lacro, Meagan Lantz, Erin Lockhart, Morgan Macchiarulo, Morgan Melito, Rhianna Rich, Elizabeth Shively and Channel Varney were among the Crimson who earned honors.
