PRINCETON, N.J. – Senior utility player Haley Davis and freshman infielder Meagan Lantz have been selected as the Ivy League Player and Rookie of the Week, respectively.

The duo of Davis and Lantz was integral in the Crimson posting a 3-1 record in its first four contests at the Loyola Marymount Tournament over the weekend. Both players batted .500 (4-for-8) and accounted for 10 of Harvard's 19 RBI in the four contests. Davis led the way with six RBI, with three of those coming off her first home run of the season against Monmouth.

Lantz had a penchant for the long ball against Fairleigh Dickinson Sunday, guiding the Crimson to a 6-1 victory with a pair of two-run homers, the first two of her collegiate career. She scored a total of three times herself. Both players were perfect in the field.

Lantz is the second Crimson student-athlete to earn Rookie of the Week accolades this season, joining classmate Rhianna Rich who won the award March 2. Davis is the first Player of the Week this season from Harvard.

Harvard wraps up play at the LMU Tournament Tuesday and will pick up again on Thursday at the San Diego State Classic II against the host and BYU.
