CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard sailing first-year Emma Kaneti was named a 2019 ICSA Honorable Mention Women's All-American Skipper, following competition at the Sperry College Sailing Women's National Championship in late May at Sail Newport Sailing Center in Newport, Rhode Island.

The Larchmont, New York native was one of nine Honorable Mention All-Americans and one of five from the Ivy League.

Kaneti earns the seventh ICSA Honorable Mention All-America award for the program and is the sixth Crimson sailor to be recognized for their performance on the boat. Harvard has now had an Honorable Mention All-American two consecutive years after Taylor Ladd '18 collected the accolade 12 months ago.

The Honorable Mention All-America distinction comes after Kaneti helped Harvard finish in second place in the A-Division, and second place overall, at the 2019 ICSA Women's National Championship.

In addition to the Honorable Mention All-America award, Kaneti was named this season to the all-NEISA second team and voted the NEISA Rookie of the Year.
