Gosioco, Sertl Named to NEISA Short Lists

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Junior Christine Gosioco and senior Nick Sertl have been named to the New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association's (NEISA) short lists, as announced by the conference Thursday evening. Gosioco has been added to the Babinau Crew of the Year list, while Sertl finds himself on the Coed Sailor of the Year list.

The NEISA Coed Sailor of the Year honors the best skippers, while the Babineau Trophy recognizes the most outstanding crew. Those named to these short lists are chosen by the coaches of the NEISA Awards Committee based on the competitive record of each candidate.

Gosioco and Sertl sail together for the Crimson in the A-Division and had a successful fall season. The duo tallied five top-ten finishes in their regattas this fall, including a pair of first and second place finishes.

Harvard last won Coed Sailor of the Year in 2008 when Kyle Kovacs took the title and Coed Crew of the Year in 2016 by Sydney Karnovsky.
