Sailing Posts 10th-Place Mark at New England Coed Championships

Nick Sertl '18 was named to the second team all NEISA Skippers (Rob Migliaccio).

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard coed sailing team wrapped up its regular season this weekend at the New England Coed Championships hosted by Boston College. The two-day regatta served as the qualifier for the ISCA Coed Championships later this month. Harvard finished the weekend with a 10th-place mark, just shy of qualifying for the ICSA Championships.  

Nick Sertl split his time with Christine Gosioco and Nomin-Erdene Jagdagdorj in the A-Division, capturing nine top-five finishes and 114 points at the conclusion of 17 races. The trio finished third overall in the A-Division behind Rhode Island and Yale.

Nick Karnovsky and Nick DiGiovanni spilt time with Julia Lord in the B-Division. The trio earned 175 points and eight top-10 placements over the course of 17 races. The Crimson finished 13th in the B-Division with three points separating 11th, 12th, and 13th places.
 
At the conclusion of the regatta, Sertl was announced to the NEISA All-Skipper second team.  For a full breakdown of the results, please see College Sailing.
