Mollerus and Karnovsky recorded their second All-NEISA honors (Athletic Communications).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Seniors Andrew Mollerus and Sydney Karnovsky were named to the All-NEISA skippers and crews list, as released by the New England Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association today.
Mollerus was named All-NEISA first team as a skipper, while Karnovsky was named to the All-NEISA first team as a crew. Both were previously named to the second team. The skipper and crew duo tallied NEISA Coed Sailor of the Week awards twice in the fall for their first-place performance at the Moody Trophy and a seventh-place mark at the Atlantic Coast Championship. The duo averaged a fifth-place tally throughout the fall and spring seasons, including seven top-five results out of 12 regattas.
Karnovsky also received the Babineau Trophy, which is given to the best crew of the year. The Brookline, Massachusetts native helped the squad finish ninth at the New England Women's Championship/Reed Trophy qualifying the Crimson for the ICSA National Championship from May 24-27 at the San Diego Yacht Club.
