Mollerus and Karnovsky Named NEISA Coed Sailors of the Week

Senior captains Mollerus and Karnovsky are honored as Coed Sailors of the Week for their first time (Athletic Communications).

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Andrew Mollerus and Sydney Karnovsky have been named the NEISA Coed Sailors of the Week after winning the Moody Trophy, hosted by Rhode Island from Oct. 10-11.

After the two-day competition, Mollerus and Karnovsky recorded two first-place finishes and one second-place mark totaling the lowest points at the regatta, 22 points. This is their first honor as coed sailors of the week.

The senior captains will sail together at the Truxton Umsted regatta hosted by Navy along with three other vessels. Harvard will also compete in the New England Match Race Championship (Salve Regina), Women's Interconference Regatta (Yale), Captain Hurst Bowl (Dartmouth) and FJ/FF Invite (MIT) from Oct. 17-18.
