Perdomo Competes At ISAF Sailing World Championships

ISAF Sailing World Championships Results

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard sailing's Juan Carlos Perdomo finished 97th overall at the ISAF Sailing World Championships held in Santander, Spain. Racing for Puerto Rico, Perdomo sailed alone in the laser men's category.

Perdomo kicked off the event with a 19th-place finish in his first race, which was his top result in the regatta. Perdomo also placed 21st in the third race, and recorded top-40 finishes in two others.

In a regatta that progressively eliminated competitors based on overall standings, Perdomo advanced through the first cut to finish 41st in the second stage of the regatta.

The ISAF World Championships featured 10 categories of boats and racing held over a two-week timespan. Overall, 81 different countries and territories were represented at the regatta.
