Harvard Sailing Finishes Fall Season at Atlantic Coast Championship

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.The Harvard coed sailing team wrapped up its fall season this weekend, placing 11th at the Atlantic Coast Championships, co-hosted by MIT and the Crimson. Harvard closes out the fall campaign with five top-3 finishes and with one regatta crown.

Senior captain Brendan Kopp skippered the A-division team of Sarah Pierson and Brian Drumm during the weekend. The trio captured three wins and placed in the top 10 in 13 out of 18 races. The A-division team tallied 123 points and took second in the grouping.
In the B division, Emily Lambert, Gram Slattery, Michael Drumm, Alexandra Jumper and Reid Bergsund all shared time on the squad. The Crimson finished in the top-10 five times, with a third-place showing in the regatta's fourth race. The B-division team finished with 208 points and 13th in the division standings.

Roger Williams won the Atlantic Coast Championship, while Dartmouth and Brown finished second and third, respectively.

The Crimson wraps up a successful fall season where it finished in the top-10 in 12 regattas.
