WAKEFIELD, R.I.-With top-four finishes in both divisions, the Harvard sailing team placed third overall at the Moody Trophy Saturday and Sunday at Wisconsin.

The Crimson took third place in the B division with 91 points and fourth in the A division with 87 to total 178. Harvard placed 16 points behind runner-up Boston College and 17 back of champion Brown. Vermont and St. Mary's (Md.) rounded out the top five in the 17-school field with 202 and 219 points, respectively.

In the A division, captain Alan Palmer and fellow junior Grace Charles won twice and finished in the top five in half of the 14 competitions. They finished just four points behind division-winner Roger Williams.

The B-division duo of sophomore Brendan Kopp and senior Michelle Konstadt opened with two straight second-place finishes and six top-five showings in the first seven races. They won once and finished outside the top half of the field just three times in 14 races.
