No. 9 Men’s Water Polo Hosts Brown, MIT to Conclude Regular Season

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The No. 9 Harvard men's water polo team will conclude its regular season this weekend, Nov. 9-10, with matches against No. 18 Brown and MIT. The Crimson will first face Brown for its Senior Day contest on Saturday at 6 p.m., before taking on MIT on Sunday at 12 p.m.

What to Know

  • The 25-0 (8-0 NWPC) Crimson have previously defeated both Brown and MIT earlier in the season, 12-5 and 18-7, respectively.
  • Both senior captain Charlie Owens and junior Dennis Blyashov have scored 50 or more goals so far this season. Owens enters the weekend with 55 goals and Blyashov has found the back of the net 53 times.
  • Sophomore Michael Sonsini leads the team with 52 assists.
  • Reigning NWPC Defensive Player of the Week Noah Hodge has recorded 201 saves so far this season, ranking fourth all-time in single-season history,
