BRIDGEPORT, Pa. – Sophomore goalie Noah Hodge has been named NWPC Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced today, Nov. 6. This marks the third time that Hodge has won the weekly award, previously earning the title on Sept. 10 and Oct. 22.
The San Juan Capistrano, Calif. native recorded 37 saves and two steals in wins over No. 17 St. Francis (N.Y.) and No. 18 Princeton. In the 10-6 victory over Princeton, Hodge set a new career high, totaling 20 saves in the match. Currently, Hodge has 201 saves on the season, sixth all-time in single-season saves in program history.
The Crimson will be back in action against Brown this weekend on Sat., Nov. 9 at 6 p.m. for its senior day and will play against MIT on Nov. 10 at 12 p.m.
