CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Ted Minnis, The Friends of Harvard Water Polo Head Coach, and the men's water polo team have announced their 2018 schedule. All of the Crimson's home matches will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
Harvard will begin the season on the road, starting with the Brown Invitational, where they will play two matches Sept. 1 at the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center, before returning to Blodgett Pool on Sept. 2 to conclude tournament play. A week later, the Crimson will head to New Jersey to play in the Princeton Invite.
Harvard then travels to Davis, California for the Aggie Roundup, with four games against UC Davis, Cal, Chapman and Whittier on Sept. 15-16. The Crimson will begin CWPA Northern Division play with a trio of road matches, facing Iona and St. Francis on Sept. 29, and Princeton Sept. 30.
The Crimson returns to Blodgett Pool for a seven-game homestand, starting with a pair of games Oct. 6 against Brown and Princeton before welcoming MIT for a crosstown match on Oct. 7. Harvard closes out its homestand when it hosts the Harvard Invite Oct. 12-14.
Harvard will wrap up the non-conference portion of the season at the Bronco Invite Oct. 19-21.
Harvard caps October with two home games against St. Francis and Iona Oct. 27 before making trips to Brown Nov. 3 and MIT Nov. 4 to conclude conference play.
The CWPA Championship will take place Nov. 16-18 at Brown.
