Harvard Athletics is proud to announce that three of its head coaches have received an inaugural Coach of Excellence award today. Head coach of softball Jenny Allard has been named the Ragatz Family Harvard Women’s Coach of Excellence, while Brian Baise, head coach of men’s volleyball, and Ted Minnis, The Friends of Harvard Water Polo Head Coach, are co-recipients of the James Herscot ’58 Coach of Excellence award.
Another season, with new records, came to an end for the No. 12 Harvard men’s water polo team on Sunday afternoon, as the Crimson fell just short of Princeton (19-10) in the NWPC championship game, 12-10.
In its fifth consecutive season of 20 or more wins, the No. 12 Harvard men’s water polo team moves into post season play, competing in the Northeast Water Polo Conference Championship at Brown University this weekend, Nov. 16-18.
The Harvard men’s water polo team hits the road for the final time in the regular season play, facing Ivy foe Brown on Nov. 3 at 3 p.m. before heading up the river to MIT for a late morning game beginning at 11 a.m. on Nov. 4.
