CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The No. 14 Harvard men's water polo team is looking for a few more wins during the last weeks of regular season competition as the Crimson hosts Princeton, Iona and St. Francis (N.Y.) this weekend at Blodgett Pool. Harvard will face the Tigers Saturday, Oct. 28 at 8 p.m. and the Gaels Sunday, Oct. 29 at 9 a.m. before closing out the weekend against the Terriers Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. All games will air on the Ivy League Network.

Scouting Harvard
Harvard is 16-6 on the season and is 6-2 home at Blodgett Pool. Freshman Dennis Blysahov leads the offense with 66 goals on the season. Behind Blyashov is sophomore Austin Sechrest, who has 48, and junior Nick Bunn with 39. The two senior captains also lead the Crimson in one category each: Harry Tafur leads with 40 assists, while Colin Chiapello leads with 24 steals. In net, junior Anthony Ridgley has made 112 saves, while sophomore Nikhil Suri has 84.

Scouting Princeton
The Tigers are 17-4 on the season and 9-3 on the road. Princeton hasn't seen action since the Harvard Invite Oct. 13-15 where the Tigers defeated George Washington, Wagner and Bucknell. Senior Jordan Colina leads the Tigers with 47 goals on 79 shots.

Scouting Iona
Iona is 6-16 this season, having most recently beaten Mercyhurst 13-6 on Oct. 21. Sophomore Quinn Lloyd led the Gaels with four goals, while senior Marc Stauble notched three. Freshman Patrick Hudak leads the team with 27 goals, while goalkeeper Jose Andres Torres has totaled 126 saves.

Scouting St. Francis (N.Y.)
Harvard competed against St. Francis on Oct. 1, losing the contest 13-11. The Terriers are 11-9 this season and are 5-9 away from the SFC Aquatic Center.  St. Francis is on a four-game losing streak, having gone 0-4 at the Rodeo Invitational losing to Loyola Marymount, UC Davis, Fresno Pacific and Stanford.

About Harvard
The Friends of Harvard Water Polo Head Coach, Ted Minnis, enters his eighth season at the helm of Crimson water polo after completing his most successful season to date. Minnis became the winningest coach in Harvard men's water polo history when Harvard defeated Johns Hopkins in last year's Bruno Classic. He now boasts a total of 138 victories with the Crimson.

The Crimson finished 27-7 during the 2016 season, including the team's first NCAA tournament appearance, having earned a spot in the final four. Harvard went 7-3 in conference play and defeated Brown for the team's first NWPC Championship title.

What's Next?
The Crimson will host Senior Day on Saturday, Nov. 4 against MIT. The game is set for 10 a.m. and will air on the Ivy League Network. The same day, Harvard will travel to Brown to finish out the regular season against the Bears at 3 p.m.
