No. 14 Men's Water Polo Sweeps Harvard Invite

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The No. 14 Harvard men's water polo team swept all three games this weekend at the Harvard Invite, including Sunday's contest against George Washington. The Crimson earned the 13-9 victory thanks to a well-rounded effort on both offense and defense.

Sophomore Austin Sechrest got the Crimson rolling with the team's first two goals of the game. Sechrest also put pressure on George Washington's offensive efforts by making four key blocks and two steals against the Colonials. Harvard's offensive effort was anchored by freshman Dennis Blyashov who netted seven goals in the contest, including the game-winner.

In net, junior Anthony Ridgley matched his career-high of 15 saves during a game, which he's matched two other times and most recently against MIT on Oct. 18, 2016.
