CAMBRIDGE, Mass.
– No. 10 Harvard men's water polo (16-3, 3-2 NWPC) looks to build on a current four-game win streak as it heads to the West Coast for the Rodeo Tournament in Southern California this weekend. The Crimson is set for four matches as it takes on No. 20 Loyola Marymount (6-10, 2-1 WWPA), No. 9 UC Davis (13-4, 3-0 WWPA), Fresno Pacific (8-9, 1-4 WWPA) and No. 20 Santa Clara (6-9, 2-1 WWPA) during the tournament.

Last Time Out
The Crimson breezed through the competition at the Harvard Invitational, winning all four of its matches while improving to 16-3 on the year. Harvard rolled to wins over the University of Toronto and Wagner on Saturday, before taking down No. 10 Bucknell and earning a victory over Dartmouth in an exhibition contest. Senior Noah Harrison totaled 12 goals over the weekend, including notching seven scores against Bucknell. Senior Joey Colton and junior Colin Chiapello each tallied two hat tricks at the tournament as well.

Rodeo Tournament
Harvard is set to compete in the Rodeo Tournament for the second consecutive season. Santa Clara and San Jose State are serving as tournament co-hosts, and the games will either take place at the Sullivan Aquatic Center at Santa Clara University or at West Valley College in Saratoga, California. Last year, Harvard put together a 4-0 weekend at the Rodeo Tournament, defeating three ranked schools in the process. The Crimson took down then-No. 16 Santa Clara, then-No. 13 Air Force, then-No. 10 UC Davis and Fresno Pacific in 2015.

Upcoming Northeast Water Polo Conference Action
The Crimson will use the Rodeo Tournament as its final tune-up before resuming conference play in the Northeast Water Polo Conference. Harvard is currently 3-2 in NWPC action, and will face MIT, Brown, St. Francis (N.Y.), Princeton and Iona to end the regular season. The Crimson is tied for third in the conference standings, trailing both No. 10 Brown (4-1 NWPC) and No. 13 Princeton (4-1 NWPC).

West Coast Dominance
Harvard, along with Bucknell and Brown, are currently tied for the No. 10 national ranking, making them the highest-ranked teams from the East Coast. The top-nine squads in the CWPA National Top 20 Poll all hail from California.

Hot Hand
Since seeing his 14-game scoring streak come to an end, Harrison has resumed his offensive proficiency as he has now scored in Harvard's last four contests. Harrison tallied 12 goals over three contests this weekend, and now has a team-high 51 goals on the season.

Dynamic Duo
Sophomore Anthony Ridgley and freshman Nikhil Suri have continued to give head coach Ted Minnis two solid options to play in net. Ridgley has appeared in 12 games and recorded four double-digit save totals, while Suri has seen action in 11 contests and totaled three double-digit save performances. Ridgley has a slight lead with 83 saves compared to 75 saves from Suri this season.

Scouting Loyola Marymount
No. 20 Loyola Marymount is currently 6-10, with eight of those losses coming to teams ranked in the CWPA Top 20 Varsity Poll. The Lions are 2-1 in conference play, and are coming off a tough one-goal loss to No. 8 Pepperdine. The Loyola Marymount offense is led by sophomore Dayne Jagga with 37 goals and sophomore Daniel Arellano with 44 assists. Defensively, junior Dominick Beaudine takes care of the duties in net and has amassed 112 saves in 15 games this season.

Scouting UC Davis
No. 9 UC Davis boasts a 13-4 record, including 3-0 in Western Water Polo Association play. The Aggies fell to Harvard in its season opener, 13-12, but has since rebounded for five victories over ranked opponents. UC Davis has won six of its last seven contests, with its only loss against No. 1 UCLA. The Aggies are led by sophomores Ido Goldschmit and Sasa Antunovic as the two rank first and second, respectively, in goals and assists for UC Davis.

Scouting Fresno Pacific
Fresno Pacific sits at 8-9 overall this season. The Sunbirds saw its four-game win streak come to an end against UC Davis last weekend. Fresno Pacific defeated then-No. 17 San Jose State on Sept. 17 for its only win against a ranked opponent this season. Senior David Maes leads the Sunbirds with 62 total points, including a team-high 41 goals. Senior goaltender Dillon Robinson has totaled 163 saves on the year.

Scouting Santa Clara
No. 20 Santa Clara enters the Rodeo Tournament with a 6-9 mark in 2016. The Broncos got off to a 5-2 start before dropping seven of its last eight contests. In its last game, Santa Clara handed then-No. 20 Air Force a 14-12 defeat. Senior Graham McClone and freshman Mac Carey lead the Broncos with 26 and 20 goals, respectively.
