CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Ted Minnis, The Friends of Harvard Water Polo Head Coach, has announced the hiring of Danielle Fournier as operations assistant.
Fournier becomes the first person to fill the operations position for the men's and women's water polo programs. She joins Minnis' staff after a stint as the operations intern at USA Rugby. Working in Boulder, Colorado, Fournier assisted in the management of logistics and event-specific operations related to the Women's Atlanta 7's Series, as well as America's Rugby Championship matches held in Houston, Austin and Fort Lauderdale. She was integral in the creation and application of the operations plan for the Atlanta 7's Series.
Prior to her time with USA Rugby, Fournier worked at the New Hampshire Sport Zone as an administrative assistant and scheduler. She was in charge of hanlding outside inquiries, managing league and tournaments schedules and helping perform facility maintenance.
Fournier previously spent time as an operations assistant at both UMass Lowell and with the Whittemore Center at the University of New Hampshire. She has a bachelor degree in kinesiology from New Hampshire (2014), where she was a member of the women's rugby team. She is a master's degree candidate in sport management at Southern New Hampshire University.
