Men’s Water Polo Welcomes Four Incoming Freshmen in Class of 2020

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Friends of Harvard Water Polo Head Coach Ted Minnis and the men's water polo team are set to welcome four newcomers for the 2016 campaign.

"I am so pleased with the addition of this incoming freshman class which includes, Charlie, Austin, Bennie and Nikhil," said Minnis. "These young men are going to be leaders in the pool, in the classroom and in the community. They will help fill the void left with the departure of the class of 2016, and help us in achieving our goals during this exciting time for Harvard men's water polo."

The quartet will join the Crimson after one of its most successful seasons yet, finishing the year at 21-10, recording the first back-to-back 20-win seasons for the first time since 2000-01. Harvard tied the highest program finish ever with a third-place showing at the CWPA Championship, and downed three top-10 opponents and six ranked opponents, both program firsts. The Crimson was ranked No. 12 in the CWPA poll for four-straight weeks, also a program first.
