CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Brian Baise, the head coach of Harvard men's volleyball and James Herscot '58 Coach of Excellence, has announced the newcomers that will form the men's volleyball Class of 2023. Joining the Crimson will be Ethan McCrary, Ethan Smith and Will Sorenson.

"We're extremely excited to welcome the Class of 2023 to our program next fall. We expect middle blockers Ethan Smith and Ethan McCrary to be impact players for us from the start. Both bring talent and size to that position, and both have experience playing against top national and international competition," said Baise. "Will Sorenson's ability to play multiple positions at a high level will be of tremendous value to us. Adding them to a team that returns all but one player from 2019 should bode well for the years ahead."

The three incoming first-years join a team that returns 11 letterwinners and 85% of its scoring from last season.
