The Crimson will host 10 matches at the MAC (Athletic Communications).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Head coach Brian Baise has announced the men's volleyball schedule for 2016 which features 25 total matches, including 10 at the Malkin Athletic Center which can be seen live on the Ivy League Digital Network.
Harvard will begin its season on the road competing at the Outrigger Invitational in Honolulu, Hawaii where it will play against Lewis (Jan. 7), Hawaii (Jan. 8) and King (Jan. 10). The team travels to Indiana Jan. 15-16 where it will play Ball State and Indiana Purdue-Fort Wayne.
The Crimson will open its home slate when Alderson Broaddus heads to Cambridge on Jan. 23 before Harvard participates in the Hall of Fame Classic in Springfield, Mass. from Feb. 5-6.
Harvard kicks off EIVA play in February when Penn State (Feb. 12) and Saint Francis (Pa.) (Feb. 13) head to the MAC. Harvard returns to the road with two matches at George Mason (Feb. 19-20), before traveling to Princeton (Feb. 26) and NJIT (Feb. 27).
Harvard will host five out of its next six matches, including Sacred Heart (March 5), Holy Names (March 11), Cal Baptist (March 14), and two with Charleston (W.Va.) (April 1-2). An away contest at Sacred Heart on March 26 breaks up the team's time at the MAC.
The Crimson's campaign wraps up with matches at Penn State (April 8) and Saint Francis (April 9), before its final weekend at home against Princeton (Apr. 16) and NJIT (Apr. 16).
The 2016 EIVA Tournament is scheduled for April 21-23 and will be hosted by the top seed.
