CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard men's tennis team has released its spring schedule today, Nov. 4. The Crimson will play in 23 dual matches and the ECAC Team Championships during its spring season. All matches played at the Murr Center will be broadcast on ESPN3.
The Crimson begins its spring season with two away matches on Jan. 19 against Purdue and Army in West Point, N.Y. Harvard will then return home to face BYU on Jan. 24 and Minnesota on Jan. 26.
On Feb. 2, the Crimson will host a doubleheader against Rice and Bryant, before traveling to Vanderbilt for matches on Feb. 8-9. Harvard will first face Memphis in the neutral-site match and then see action against the host university Vanderbilt. The Crimson will then compete in the ECAC Team Championships, Feb. 14-16, in New York, N.Y. To close out February, Harvard will take on Northwestern and Boston University at home on Feb. 23.
The Crimson will travel to California for four matches March 16-22. Beginning in La Jolla, Calif. Harvard will play San Diego State on March 16, before heading to San Diego on March 19. The Crimson will then head back to La Jolla, Calif. to face Texas in a neutral-site contest. Harvard will wrap up its California road trip against Pepperdine on March 22. On March 28, the Crimson will return home to host a doubleheader against Buffalo and Trinity.
Ivy League play will begin in April, with three matches at home for the Crimson. Harvard will host Penn, Princeton and Yale on April 4, 5 and 10, respectively. The Crimson will then travel for conference matchups against Brown on April 12, Cornell on Apr. 18 and Columbia on April 19. The final match of the regular season will be held in Cambridge when Harvard takes on Dartmouth on April 25.
Rounds one and two of the NCAA Regionals will be May 1-3, with the location and times to be determined.
