PRINCETON, N.J. – The Harvard men's tennis team closed out the Ivy Plus Tournament with two players going undefeated in singles play.

In Princeton, sophomore Harris Walker conquered the Nassau flight by defeating Austen Huang of Columbia in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3. Walker had also advanced to the finals of the Farnsworth draw with his doubles partner, junior Robert Wrzesinski. The pair competed in a tough match, battling to an eventual 8-7 loss to Conklin/Martin of Dartmouth. Wrzesinski stayed strong in singles play, defeating Michael Sun of Yale, 6-2, 6-7, 10-7.

In Yale, first-year Alan Yim defeated Luis Molina Uria of Delaware in straight sets. Yim's 6-3, 7-5 victory over Molina Uria left him undefeated in singles play at the Ivy Plus Tournament.

"It was great to have so many players in action this weekend at Princeton and Yale. These fall matches are invaluable and really help us develop an action plan for each member of the team going forward," commented the Scott Mead '77 Head Coach for Harvard Men's Tennis Andrew Rueb. "The effort and commitment from this team has stood out to us (as coaches) since our first practice. We just need to keep putting in the work."
