Men’s Tennis Set to Compete at the Ivy Plus Tournament

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men's tennis will return to competition this weekend, Sept. 20-22, in Princeton, N.J. for the Ivy Plus Tournament. The tournament, hosted by Princeton, will take place at the Lenz Tennis Center. In the case of inclement weather, it will take place in Jadwin Gym. The Crimson will face players from 18 different teams, including Columbia, Michigan State, Penn State and Texas.

Friday, Sept. 20
Doubles matches begin at 9 a.m.
Singles matches begin at 12 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 21
Singles matches begin at 9 a.m.

Sunday, Sept. 22
Doubles matches begin at 9 a.m.
Singles matches begin at 9:45 a.m.

What to Know 

  • Junior Robert Wrzesinski was the singles runner-up in the Lenz bracket at last year's tournament, going 3-1 over the weekend.
  • Wrzesinski advanced to the quarterfinal round of the Wild Card Shoot Out at the Napa Invite, Sept. 15.
  • Junior Lane Leschly went undefeated at last year's Ivy Plus and had a 3-0 record against Ivy League opponents.
