  • Men’s Tennis Receives No. 11 Ranking, Highest Since 1998

    TEMPE, Ariz. – The Harvard men’s tennis team is ranked No. 11 in the nation according to the Oracle ITA Division I Men’s Team Rankings, released today, Feb. 25. This marks the Crimson’s highest ranking since the 1998 season and the third-highest ranking in program history.

    Cambridge, Mass. – The No. 14 Harvard men’s tennis team (11-1) remained undefeated at home after taking down Northwestern (6-4) and Boston University (3-5). The Crimson first took the 4-3 victory in a hard-fought match against the Wildcats before defeating the Terriers 5-0 in the nighttime matchup.

The Crimson will first face Northwestern (5-3) at 11 a.m. before taking on Boston University (2-4) at 6 p.m. Both matches will be broadcast on ESPN3.

The Crimson advances to its third-straight ECAC final, set to be played tomorrow at 3 p.m. Harvard will face the winner of the Cornell/Dartmouth match.

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard men’s tennis team (8-0) is set to head to Ithaca, New York for the ECAC Championships hosted by Cornell, Feb. 14-16. Competing in the tournament are Brown, Cornell, Penn, Princeton and Yale. The top-seeded Crimson will have a bye into the semifinals of the tournament, set to be played on Saturday, Feb. 15, at 9 a.m. Harvard will face the winner of Friday’s Princeton/Penn match.
