Men’s Tennis Announces Fall Lineup

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—In anticipation of the upcoming season, the Harvard men's tennis team announced its 2018 fall schedule, featuring seven tournaments.

This fall, the Crimson is slated to host one home tournament, its fall season opener, Chowder Fest, on Sept. 14. After completing three days of competition on home court, players travel to Princeton and New Haven for the Ivy Plus tournament the following weekend.

The Crimson reconvenes in New Jersey for the five-day ITA Regionals tournament on Oct. 11 before traveling to Dartmouth for the Big Green Invite held Oct. 19-21.

Harvard rounds out the fall on the road, first traveling to Williamsburg, Va. for the Tribe Invitational held Nov. 2-4. The Crimson will go head-to-head with Old Dominion, Virginia Commonwealth and Penn State. Harvard then closes out the fall at the Wake Forest Fall Classic, Nov. 9-11.

The team ended the 2017-2018 season 21-7, including a NCAA Tournament run. The ITA All-Academic Team returns key players such as All-Ivy first team doubles player Logan Weber as well as captains Andy Zhou and Christopher Morrow.

All indoor home matches played at the Murr Center Tennis Courts will be broadcast on ESPN+.
