The Harvard men's tennis team (6-5) fell, 4-2, to Penn in its final dual match of the ECAC Championships, hosted by Princeton University.

Harvard suffered a narrow defeat in doubles, as the Crimson won its first match of the day, with Brian Yeung and Kenny Tao earning their third doubles win of the weekend with a 6-2 victory over Penn's Marshall Sharp and Nicholi Westergaard.

But in two tiebreakers, Harvard's No. 2 and 3 doubles teams were narrowly edged, leaving Harvard with work to do in singles play.

Only one of the six singles matches was completed in straight sets, with Harvard's Andy Zhou winning 6-3, 6-1, against Penn's Max Cancilla.

In No. 5 singles, Grant Solomon won for the second straight day, rallying from a set down to win 4-6, 6-4, 6-1. But Penn won the remaining three-setters in the No. 1, No. 2 and No. 6 singles spots to clinch the match win.

Harvard will host Memphis and Boston University next Sunday at the Murr Center Tennis Courts. Both matches will be streamed on the Ivy League Digital Network.
